The Disabled American Veterans Aviation Outreach Program is now in its eighth airshow season with AirSupport LLC. At present it is the organization's leading public outreach program -- setting record numbers in excess of twenty percent on direct mail returns. The program grows every year and has been DAVs most successful public outreach to date.

The DAV Aviation Outreach Program was developed to increase public awareness of disabled veterans and to serve veterans in communities across the nation. Using a World War II era B-25 bomber, the program participates in approximately twenty-five airshows per year -- reaching over 2.7 million airshow spectators. Each event is a four-day effort that includes an aggressive media campaign, airshow performances and a fully-interactive DAV display. AirSupport LLC Event Coordinators work with each show to maximize media exposure and visibility for DAV. Media efforts include VIP flights in the B-25 for major media outlets and always result in multiple media hits at each show. In addition, DAV representatives are on hand throughout the event to talk to veterans and their families.

Disabled American Veterans is a 1.2 million member, non-profit organization. Founded more than 80 years ago, DAV is dedicated to a single purpose: building better lives for America's disabled veterans and their families. Whether disabled veterans need a voice on Capitol Hill, a nationwide service program, a transportation network or unique rehabilitation opportunities, DAV focuses its attention and resources to meet those needs.
